Use only as directed.

Directions for use: Start with taking 1 1/2 teaspoons alone or in water or juice, 3 times daily. Dosage may be increased to 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon 3 times a day. Shake well before use. Store in a cool dark environment.

Product Warning: Keep out of reach of children. This product contains alcohol. Recommended doses should not cause impairment. However, use caution when driving or operating machinery. Consult with your primary care physician or a medical professional before using with or replacing any medications. Do not take more than the suggested dosage. People with low blood pressure or hypotension should not use this.  Flushed skin, skin rash and upset stomach have been reported while using this. Do not use if protein hypersensitive or have chronic-progressive infections such as tuberculosis and AIDS. It is not appropriate for long term use. Berberine stimulates the uterus. If a person has high blood pressure, watch for the highs and lows and if they occur. May lower blood pressure and heart rate. May potentiate heart medications. May potentiate diuretic drugs. Do not use when pregnant or have kidney disease. Do not use if history of kidney stones. Do not use if diarrhea, loose stools or abdominal pain develops.
