Use only as directed.

Directions for use: Take 6-30 drops under the tongue or by mouth with juice or water as needed. May use 1-3 times daily. Shake well before use. Store in a cool dark environment.

Do not use if have gallstones or obstruction of bile ducts. Do not use if have intestinal obstruction, Crohn’s disease, diarrhea, appendicitis or abdominal pain. Not for long term use. Poke Root should only be used by the well-trained herbalist. Its results can be fatal. It should not be used more than one gram per day. When used in its higher dosage amounts, it acts as an emetic and a cathartic. Should not be used in large doses because it can irritate the gastrointestinal tract.
